Since the X Games just finished up last Sunday, let’s take a look back to when downhill BMX was in the games. As well as the UCI Downhill BMX race at Woodward West.
Just prior to the era of being fully clipped in, X Games welcomed Downhill BMX into the scene. The jumps were massive, the invites were stacked and chromoly frames were your best bet for getting through the track unscathed. Watch as 1-800-Collect’s Robbie Miranda puts in the work and comes out on top.
Earthed 2 – Woodward California (UCI)
Raw 100
In creating this latest addition to the Raw 100 series, Brandon Semenuk and filmmaker Rupert Walker pointed it south to California from their homes in Canada to breathe new life into an old Downhill BMX track that hasn’t been used since the discipline was an X Games event in the early 2000s. Prepare to be amazed by the riding on display in the video above.
