2026 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifiers

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce that the 2026 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships will take place in the Mentougou district of Beijing, China, on 16 and 17 October.

Mentougou, home to the famous Mount Lingshan, is one of the 16 districts that make up Beijing, one the world’s most dynamic cities, with a population of over 22 million. The district hosts the annual Tour of Mentougou International Road Cycling Race, a class 2.2 road stage race on the UCI Asia Tour calendar.

This will be the first time the UCI Pump Track World Championships will be held in China, although the country has hosted several qualifying events in recent years: in Deqing (2023), Yantai (2024), and Shenyang City and Rushan (2025). Shenyang City and Yantai are again on the calendar of qualifiers in 2026.

The winners of each of the 23 qualifying events being organised in 19 countries this season will secure a spot to compete in Beijing for the rainbow jersey of UCI World Champion. The UCI Pump Track World Championships return as a standalone event this year following the 2025 edition in Monthey, Valais (Switzerland), when they were organised as part of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships featuring almost all mountain bike’s different formats.
