2023 UCI BMX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – GLASGOW, SCOTLAND
In 2023, the ever-popular World Championships are held in Glasgow, Scotland as part of the wider UCI Cycling World Championships event where multiple cycling disciplines will hold their world championships in and around the city from 3-13 August 2023.
Glasgow and Scotland have considerable experience organising international cycling events including annual rounds of the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup and the 2007 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships in Fort William, and the Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup and the cycling competitions of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
BMX Racing Challenge:
Rider Confirmation etc: Thursday 3rd August.
Practice: Friday 4th August – Saturday 5th August.
Racing: Sunday 6th August – Wednesday 9th Aug.
The UCI will confirm the full schedule and categories after rider registration is complete.
BMX Racing Championships:
Official Practice: Friday 11th August.
Qualifying: Saturday 12th August.
Finals: Sunday 13th August.

2023 WORLD BMX CHAMPIONSHIPS – CHALLENGE CLASS
August 3rd-13th – Glasgow, Scotland
USA BMX will be managing the Challenge Class logistics for the 2023 USA Team (including registration, entry fees, jersey orders, waivers, etc.) Challenge riders will process those transactions with USA BMX and will purchase their UCI BMX International Rider License from USA Cycling. Information will be posted here as it becomes available and the links will then become active. Please check back often as information may be updated or changed. On Friday of the national, UCI classes will be the only class offerings for riders attemping qualification.

- Announcement of Discretionary Nominations by Petition: May 12th, 2023
