After much deliberation, we have finally established the 2017 BMX Canada National Series Schedule. With the UCI World Championships coming back to North America, it certainly created some scheduling concerns to accommodate riders wanting to participate in that event.
For 2017, we will kick things off in Chilliwack, British Columbia in May, but follow that up with a split weekend (2 Canadian nationals on the same weekend) on June 2-4th that will see action in Cumberland, British Columbia and Kingston, Ontario. The split nationals in Canada are a first-ever, but this schedule change made the most sense when looking at the “big picture”.
Later in June, the action will head to Langley, British Columbia for the Borderline Nationals.
After the UCI Worlds, we will head to Kelowna, British Columbia in August for a great race in the Okanagan.
Two weeks later, Milton BMX in Milton, Ontario will host the Maple Leaf Nationals. And, we will finish up the season back where it all started in Chilliwack, British Columbia at Chilliwack Heritage Park for the BMX Canada Grands.
