Alright here it is, the State Qualifier Race on July 26th is going down! Here is the information you will need to know for the event.
You will find the link below to register for the event. Cost is $25.00 per bike. You must register online to participate. Cut off time for online registration is 12 PM Friday July 24th.
The race will be held in a block format style. Here is roughly the schedule we are anticipating.
8:00 to 9:00 open practice in 2 X 30 min sessions. 12 and under will be 8:00 to 8:30 and 13 and over will be 8:30 to 9:00
Racing will run:
Cruiser classes through Novice starting at 9:15 am. Expecting 3 hours for this block to complete.
Intermediate, Girls Expert, and Expert classes will run at the conclusion of the first block. Expect about a 12-1 o’clock start time.
Awards will be made available at the conclusion of each block.
Social distancing guidelines are in effect. Mask will be required within the fence lines unless racing (helmet on!) or your rider is under the age of 12 which it is then optional. Parents in staging helping young riders will also need to wear a mask. Thanks for your understanding.
Parking will be available at Emerald Valley BMX but we will not be able to have any camping this year. Concession will primarily be waters/ Gatorade and some pre-packaged items so please be prepared as no food service will be offered.
Team tent sites will be available to purchase for $20.00 per spot. A separate sign-up will be made available in another post. No pitting will be offered within the fence line of the track but many nice spots will be available right outside the fence for your viewing pleasure! Please stay tuned.
Team racing will also take place. We will have a separate sign-up sheet that which will also be made available in another post, so please look out for that if you are interested in team sign-ups.
